Zenitar 50mm f1.7 (Square/Diamond iris)

The Zenitar 50mm f1.7 is a normal lens as far as focal length goes , but it is a very unique lens. It is the only lens I have with a square aperture. The square is on it’s side, like a diamond. The iris opens all the way to clear, and starts to close up like a box. Super digitally attentive looks could be drawn from such a lens !

This lens does cover Full Frame, Super 35mm and m4/3 digital sensors. This lens is in EF, matches well enough to the Zuiko lenses, which offer a little more yellow vs. amber tones found in the Zenitar lenses.
