The Sigma 18mm-35mm f1.8 is in EF mount. Having an f1.8 means there are hardly any lenses I feel I can compare this to. This lens is so sharp and fast. It is very low flares. It covers contemporary looks, but is not much of a vintage look. Sigmas are more advanced lenses, but there are some vintage lenses I can compare this to:
Rubin 37mm-80mm f2.8 is one lens that has a similar zoom range and a fast f stop for the time. The Rubin is that much more vintage than the Sigma lens is advanced. Though the Rubin is double the focal length of the Sigma, the Rubin will produce more of timely appeal.
Meteor 19-69mm f1.9 is another lens in the 16mm collection. That lens vignettes much more but is the same f stop and with a further zoom range. This lens I can only mount in m4/3.
