This lens should only be stopped down 1/3 or 1/2 a stop to achieve ideal sharpness. It doesn’t focus closer than 3 feet, so you can forget about macro shots, without extension tubes. This lens can be used on Sony A7s i or ii and Canon 5d mk ii, which are full-frame sensors, and any sensor size smaller (A-PSC, m4/3).
