Tokina 11mm-16mm f2.8

A very new-wave and modern lens . I wish there was an equivalent vintage lens that was as wide as this lens. For A-PSC cameras (that of which I own or rent out include GH5 + Speedbooster, Red Epic/Scarlet/Dragon/Raven/Gemini, Sony FS7, Blackmagic Pocket 4K/6K/Ursa) this lens has full coverage, without any signs of hard vignetting. The distortion on this lens can be significant, but it is acceptable. When shooting straight lines, it does not do a bubble effect like I have seen with the Rokinon 14mm, nor is it edgy like the Rokinon 10mm. I am not a fan of wide-angles that distort oddly. Because it makes the lens useless for Wes Anderson! Haha. But for those not trying to be Wes Anderson , they may want to go the Rokinon 10mm apsc or Rokinon 14mm route.

What I like about this lens aside from it’s distortion. It is consistently sharp at wide open stops. And it gives very cool sun stars!
